My Pro’s and Con’s of Home Schooling list

Been thinking and reading so much lately. I’ve been keeping a list of advantages and disadvantages of home schooling as I go along and here it is. It’s a list for me, and not necessarily how others will see it, or how their experiences may be. They are in no particular order. I may add to or edit this as we go along.

Home Schooling Pros and Cons

  1. i hear you, especially about things like errands, cos it’s slower, but i’ve found that my kiddos have learned *so* much… at places like the supermarket. at around 10 – 11 yrs i give them their own list and a trolley and away they go, they know how to work out cheapest-best deals and it’s so helpful. we love going to get coffee too…

lol about the school photos… *cheeky grin* cos a home ed mommy gets so *many* photo opportunities that ya never get in the classroom…

  2. Yeah….it’s a lame one I know. I had to try to think of as many con’s as I could so at least it *looked* objective. I was scraping the bottom of the barrel for that one. *wink*
